The ideological and political formation of the people in Cuba from the perspective of Fidel Castro Ruz. The role of the cadres of the revolution

Abstract

The ideological and political formation of the Cuban people constitutes a strategic pillar for the continuity and deepening of the Cuban social project. This article addresses the enduring relevance of Fidel Castro Ruz's thought in this process and highlights the role of the Revolution's cadres as active agents in the transmission and practice of ethical and political principles. The objective is to reflect on the ideological and political formation of the Cuban people based on the thought of Fidel Castro Ruz and to emphasize the leading role of the Revolution's cadres in its implementation. A qualitative methodology was employed, based on the documentary analysis of speeches, writings, and works by Fidel Castro Ruz, as well as a review of current political and ideological training programs in Cuba. Content analysis and dialectical hermeneutics techniques were applied. It is concluded that the effectiveness of the Cuban model of the people's ideological and political formation is directly related to the leading role of the Revolution's cadres, who must critically update their actions in the face of new challenges, without abandoning the humanist and anti-imperialist essence of Fidel Castro's legacy, in order to guarantee the sustainability and legitimacy of the political system.
