Analysis of the types of ventures and their characteristics in four cantons of the Los Ríos province, Ecuador

The Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda have among its main objectives to eradicate poverty and hunger by promoting spaces in which more and more efficient and sustainable productive levels can be achieved that stimulate creativity, innovation and an increasingly committed management with the protection of the environment. This paper is directed to the analysis of the characteristics of the entrepreneurships and their types in four cantons of the Los Ríos province in order to find the strengths and vulnerabilities present to propose measures that eliminate or mitigate the negative factors present. It was found that the most frequent entrepreneurships is the Retail Trade and the least frequent is the Elaboration of Drugs. It is concluded that there is a low business culture and little attention is paid to those aspects related to the environment.
